Abelardo Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Garnier Rusterholz was a little too slow when Valdo Dantas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-1. Anthon Mellbad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Mellbad in the 22nd minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Donato Oliveira got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Anthon Mellbad might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthon Mellbad ran back to his position shaking his head. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Mellbad in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthon Mellbad in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caio Pinto got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Valdo Dantas. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Anthon Mellbad made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Anthon Mellbad managed to get in a good position for a shot. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Anthon Mellbad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garnier Rusterholz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Dantas in the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Anthon Mellbad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Maranhense. That made the score 3-2 after 60 minutes of play. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Garnier Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Oliveira in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olivedos:s goal. Donato Oliveira walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Luiz Falcão was substituted for Wang Guang Wei. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Tadeu Goiano was substituted for Edmílson Arantes. In the 69th minute Donato Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garnier Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Faustão Abraão struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Abelardo Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Garnier Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Oliveira in the 82nd minute of play. Abelardo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Ferraz in the 88th minute of play forced PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalkeeper Garnier Rusterholz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Abraão to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 93 in the game by Faustão Abraão from a close distance when the talented Abelardo Maranhense managed to make a qualified save. Olivedos's players were relieved. Abelardo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Faustão Abraão sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Abraão came free, but Abelardo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Olivedos had won after a very even match.
