Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cleiton Guedes kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the game, Xelo Fernandes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serginho Taffarel. Xelo Fernandes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bittor Adarzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Serginho Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serginho Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Radamel-Falcao García left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Bittor Adarzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Serginho Taffarel made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, João Vítor Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MINEIROS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ the free kick. A collision led to MINEIROS getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. João Vítor Linhares hit a great ball. Serginho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bittor Adarzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Serginho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bittor Adarzo in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ got a freekick which was hit by João Cancelo.
