Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dudu Georgescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cezar Bărnuțiu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Iturrate. Florencio Iturrate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Victor Lupeanu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Radamel-Falcao García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erramun Cepa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Erramun Cepa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florencio Iturrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Mihai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Erramun Cepa got a free kick in the 37th minute. Vasile Acalinei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florencio Iturrate. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Erramun Cepa hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihnea Caba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nicolae Mandache fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
