The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Artur Sikola put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Cesarstwo4 u18:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. GUAYACO:s goal. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for C.A. GUAYACO. Pedro Megia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bogumil Zajonc. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walme Saucedo in the 28th minute of play forced Cesarstwo4 u18's goalkeeper Bogumil Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogumil Zajonc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Suscal Paniagua in the 30th minute. When Radomil Lato fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cesarstwo4 u18's protests and gave Radomil Lato a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Walme Saucedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Wladyslaw Dzierwa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GUAYACO's Marcelo Napa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Winograd in the 81st minute of play. Cesarstwo4 u18's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincent Winograd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Napa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cesarstwo4 u18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cesarstwo4 u18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
