Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Lucena started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Leizarraga in the 2nd minute of play. Alexandre Lucena's late challenge caught a C. S. Perón y Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Lucena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Lucena to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Leizarraga took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Amaro. Rodrigo Amaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ovidio Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. S. Perón y Belgrano's protests and gave Ovidio Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes C. S. Perón y Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Abreu. Severo Elequemedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. S. Perón y Belgrano's Severo Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Marques in the 18th minute of play. Mateus Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Elequemedo having to interfere. Lúcio Marques's late challenge caught a C. S. Perón y Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Marques helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Lúcio Marques got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Rodrigo Amaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Leizarraga's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 29 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Marques. In the 30th minute Saturnino Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Ignacio Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. S. Perón y Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Goiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Armando Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Lucena got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alexandre Lucena hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Leizarraga in the 41st minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Rodrigo Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Leizarraga to make the kick off. Saturnino Leizarraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Rodrigo Amaro made a huge save. 53 minutes into the game, Mateus Quaresma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ponte do Carro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. S. Perón y Belgrano the free kick. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mateus Quaresma hit a great ball. Saturnino Leizarraga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Amaro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Pimenta during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Pimenta. C. S. Perón y Belgrano's Ignacio Goiz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rodrigo Amaro but with some difficulty. Ignacio Goiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Amaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Goiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. After 65 played minutes C. S. Perón y Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Goiz. When Saturnino Leizarraga came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the C. S. Perón y Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Leizarraga couldn't finish the play. Perón y Belgrano's Saturnino Leizarraga got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nuno Sanches hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro got control of the ball when Saturnino Leizarraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Amaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Leizarraga's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Leandro Formerio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodrigo Amaro. That made the score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Rodrigo Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Leizarraga. C. S. Perón y Belgrano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
