An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Romano in the 8th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Humberto Salomone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Godfried Teunens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredinho Gerber. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfried Teunens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 12 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by José Ignacio Fernández. In the 14th minute Teodoro Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iván Cordoba made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Teodoro Nikola. Humberto Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Romano in the 31st minute of the match. La Bichineta's Humberto Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Nikola in the 34th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Humberto Salomone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Humberto Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Nikola in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half La Bichineta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Arnaldo Pirmin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baba Yazar in the 76th minute of play. If Daniel Bertoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Xing Xi got free with Alfredinho Gerber in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Alzamendi came free, but Humberto Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Bichineta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
