Bray Moran charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bray Moran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes St. James Gate F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bray Moran. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Pedro Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barhart Costello in the 5th minute of play. Brigid Rutherford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charly Alberti went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Charly Alberti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brigid Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charly Alberti in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Charly Alberti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Alberti in the 18th minute of play forced St. James Gate F.C.'s goalkeeper Brigid Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Cai Jun Yu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barnaby Bayes got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Barhart Costello. In the 24th minute, Charly Alberti fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Barnaby Bayes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Brigid Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charly Alberti in the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's goal looked a bit too open when Hewney Kirby came free, but Pedro Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Charly Alberti managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's supporters rose to their feet, but Charly Alberti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brigid Rutherford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Pedro Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barhart Costello in the 38th minute of play. Brigid Rutherford was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charly Alberti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Charly Alberti came free, but Brigid Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charly Alberti in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brigid Rutherford saved St. James Gate F.C. from getting behind.

Ebelegbulam Hajto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brigid Rutherford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play St. James Gate F.C.'s Barnaby Bayes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 54 played minutes St. James Gate F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Barnaby Bayes. In the 59thth minute of the game Charly Alberti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brigid Rutherford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Alberti in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 were awarded a corner. Cacey Walker went to the cornerflag to take it. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Cacey Walker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brigid Rutherford in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Charly Alberti in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St. James Gate F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Pearse McWilliam made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's James Butler. But to his dismay, Charly Alberti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 86 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Charly Alberti came free, but Brigid Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Dallas Dalglish heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
