Edmundo Pombal hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Miroslaw Liberko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugon Piechna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aleksander Konieczny made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Edgar Scislowicz immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to NieETIkalni Lebork getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Matias Pais hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Xesus Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ömür Seyfeddin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Hugon Piechna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 26 minutes, Xesus Reyes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Marian Chilavert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Xesus Reyes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Chilavert was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Hugon Piechna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Scislowicz in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesus Reyes in the 34th minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Xesus Reyes made a precise shot to the right of Marian Chilavert. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Xesus Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marian Chilavert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Matias Pais managed to get in a good position for a shot. NieETIkalni Lebork's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Pais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Chilavert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xesus Reyes was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xesus Reyes. The supporters of NieETIkalni Lebork booed when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Konieczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, NieETIkalni Lebork's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Biskupiak came free, but Hugon Piechna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Edgar Scislowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Scislowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute of the match Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a corner. NieETIkalni Lebork's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grzegorz Jankowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Grzegorz Jankowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugon Piechna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hugon Piechna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gökçek Kolçak's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. A collision led to NieETIkalni Lebork getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Zachariasz Jaszyna hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes NieETIkalni Lebork got a freekick which was hit by Xesus Reyes. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Otto Alberg got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Artur Kapinos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
