Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Scarlet Speedster from getting a goal against them. Herblay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dimitri Bougault in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Alfredinho Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 14 in the game by Dimitri Bougault from a close distance when the talented Naldo Proença managed to make a qualified save. Scarlet Speedster's players were relieved. Tristan Vicente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Perez in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Herblay's Arnaud Konieczny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naldo Proença made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, João Severino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scarlet Speedster's supporters rose to their feet, but João Severino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Vicente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Virgílio Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristan Vicente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Severino in the 37th minute of the match. Scarlet Speedster's Edward Krzynowek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tristan Vicente in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dimitri Bougault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Naldo Proença made a huge save. With a little luck, Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença got control of the ball when Arnaud Konieczny tried to sneak it across the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgílio Perez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Severino in the 58th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Tristan Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Konieczny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Severino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tristan Vicente came out and tried to block the shot, but João Severino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 68th minute. Alfredinho Machado made a great header on Scarlet Speedster's corner, it was just that Herblay's Tristan Vicente managed to reach the ball for a save. Naldo Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Severino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Vicente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaud Konieczny in the 82nd minute of play. João Severino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Tristan Vicente made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Scarlet Speedster's 龚棋岩 got a free kick in the 84th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Dagorne came free, but Naldo Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Tristan Vicente made a huge save. The supporters of Herblay booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Herblay fans cheered their team off the field, for while Scarlet Speedster had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
