An unexpectedly hard shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 14th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper Tadej Pogačar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Temelko Chukov made a great header on Decathlon Dudes's corner, it was just that SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais managed to reach the ball for a save. 21 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's Henrik Larsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jānis Lielais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrik Larsson in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jānis Lielais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute, Jāzeps Pics left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Annenieki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Larsson in the 65th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Henrik Larsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute, Henrik Larsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Decathlon Dudes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 71 played minutes SK Annenieki got a freekick which was hit by Renāts Skipors. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Temelko Chukov in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Henrik Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jānis Lielais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Larsson took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jānis Lielais. Jānis Lielais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 87th minute Henrik Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jānis Lielais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes in the game, Indris Tomass dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Many of SK Annenieki's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SK Annenieki may have spent more time on the ball, but Decathlon Dudes were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
