In the 15th minute of the match Sinan Okergun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Firmin skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Jesus Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Mazuste was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Pitin in the 34th minute of play forced TalleresUnited's goalkeeper Nestor Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, TalleresUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Hyska came free, but Nestor Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The TalleresUnited fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when TalleresUnited's Jesus Casado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Pere during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Sinan Okergun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Firmin. That made the score 3-1 in the 72 minute of play. Ricardo Stephen made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sinan Okergun however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Casado in the 76th minute of play forced Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Andres Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Casado took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Mazuste. Eloy Mazuste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Nestor Firmin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislaw Hyska in the 89th minute.
