Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Van Clynenbreugel in the 15th minute of play. Pipon Pipon fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when C. A. Pipon Pipon's Francesco Figueroa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 24 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Van Clynenbreugel came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C. A. Pipon Pipon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Al Whatley in the 30th minute. The corner led to C. A. Pipon Pipon's Cesario Irazu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Bryson in the 33rd minute of play. Tuan Eubanks hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when ACC Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sahnoyan Şah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Al Whatley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Hyatt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nerio Lopez de Toro. A nice corner shot did that Aare Fahlgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jannes Ruttens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicky Bryson in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bob Hyatt saved ACC Mavericks from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Ronalds Koeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nerio Lopez de Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nerio Lopez de Toro came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the ACC Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nerio Lopez de Toro couldn't finish the play. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Van Clynenbreugel in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Nerio Lopez de Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, ACC Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Ortiz came free, but Bob Hyatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Hyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Bryson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match ACC Mavericks got a corner. C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aare Fahlgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. ACC Mavericks's Aare Fahlgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jannes Ruttens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the C. A. Pipon Pipon defense, Steve Van Clynenbreugel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jannes Ruttens. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jannes Ruttens should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Nerio Lopez de Toro came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ACC Mavericks's Jarrett Helms got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, ACC Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Cesario Irazu came free, but Bob Hyatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
