Roger Myles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Galagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Danilo Maranhense scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thorbjørn Wiinholt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Maranhense in the 42nd minute of play forced Lincolnwood's goalkeeper Thorbjørn Wiinholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Illinois Bluewaters's zone, 王川洲 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Myles came out of the goal and 王川洲 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Lincolnwood's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Hare in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Emanuel Brogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Myles made an important save on a dangerous shot by 王川洲 in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lincolnwood's Kevin Hare slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Myles. That made the score 4-1 after 93 minutes of play.
