If Dolf Schoonderwoerd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 4th minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Ralph Scholte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Scholte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Olalla in the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piearres Olalla in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralph Scholte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Scholte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Scholte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Olalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dolf Schoonderwoerd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ralph Scholte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 16th minute of play. Fernan Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Dolf Schoonderwoerd might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralph Scholte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dolf Schoonderwoerd ran back to his position shaking his head. Ralph Scholte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 19th minute of play. Jan Wessel came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Zijdewind SC's Vicente Eusko. But to his dismay, Vicente Eusko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ralph Scholte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ralph Scholte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 28th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vicente Eusko made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Siwy came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Wlodzimierz Absolwent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph Scholte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dolf Schoonderwoerd's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zijdewind SC's goalie and right to Riemer Fries. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zijdewind SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Zijdewind SC's Ralph Scholte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Zijdewind SC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Melinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Siwy in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Wessel saved The Underdogs from getting behind. Piearres Olalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Dolf Schoonderwoerd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zijdewind SC's Ralph Scholte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralph Scholte saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. Dolf Schoonderwoerd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ralph Scholte made a huge save. After having played for 79 minutes, Vicente Eusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zijdewind SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Eusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84thth minute of the game Piearres Olalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zijdewind SC's Ralph Scholte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 minutes of play, The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralph Scholte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ralph Scholte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The Underdogs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
