In the 67th match minute, PP Plessydask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Hvidegaard to maneuver through the defense. When Arnauld Van Impe came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. Arnauld Van Impe made a great header on Brugge United's corner, it was just that PP Plessydask's Jan Abrahamsson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 79th minute of the match, Laurențiu Roşculeţ tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Abrahamsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A well placed Arnauld Van Impe short distance shot in the 89th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brugge United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
