When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilhelm Nienhaus made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Zé Paulo da Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armageddon's Marko Ööpik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jörg Hannemann kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Rune Jarstein made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Manole Miulescu sent off a good shot on target. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Armageddon's Manole Miulescu. But to his dismay, Manole Miulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Miulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Armageddon's attentive Rainer Haugas managed to snatch the ball when Lüder Roppel made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute Rupert Heidingsfelder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Heidingsfelder in the 92nd minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Marko Ööpik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Gunnar Westerstrand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armageddon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hertha 1969 the free kick.
