A collision led to Al-Fajuth getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Timeteo Pinto hit a great ball. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Magheran, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Ştefan Magheran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ştefan Magheran put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Édouard Mendy. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Róbson Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ştefan Magheran took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After some careless play in the Al-Fajuth defense, Ştefan Magheran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Édouard Mendy. The Al-Fajuth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Édouard Mendy should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ştefan Magheran to strike the kick off in the second half. Inácio Ponta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Magheran in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Édouard Mendy saved Al-Fajuth from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Magheran in the 58th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbson Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Vassilis Nentakis made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Timeteo Pinto sent off a good shot on target. Ştefan Magheran might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Édouard Mendy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ştefan Magheran ran back to his position shaking his head. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Magheran in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Magheran in the 66th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Magheran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Édouard Mendy was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Magheran in the 70th minute of play. Inácio Ponta might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Édouard Mendy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Ponta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Frits van Gaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Frits van Gaal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Édouard Mendy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 88th minute, Alfredo Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 92nd minute, Alfredo Zonta made a precise shot to the right of Édouard Mendy. Al-Fajuth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.E. Pindorama Eagles fully deserved thier win.
