After a rather tough play, FALCÕES VERDES's Kai Havertz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute Salelles were awarded a corner. Manolito Macías went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Salelles's corner Manolito Macías fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomás Fernandes quite easily take care of the ball. Thomás Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ramón Alfaro sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Salelles's Thomás Fernandes threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Traian Chelaru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Anacleto Rodriguez with Vinicio Turrilla as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Betinho Lenzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Lenzi in the 16th minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Giuseppe Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Lenzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Betinho Lenzi scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giuseppe Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betinho Lenzi in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Silveira saved Salelles from getting behind. If Betinho Lenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giuseppe Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emre Çeliksu in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Betinho Lenzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giuseppe Silveira. Salelles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betinho Lenzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Salelles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe Silveira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cristiano Bueno. In the 66th minute, Kai Havertz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomás Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Lenzi. 72 minutes into the game, Salelles's Paulino Marin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Giuseppe Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betinho Lenzi in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, FALCÕES VERDES's Betinho Lenzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giuseppe Silveira. Giuseppe Silveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 82nd minute of the match, Emre Çeliksu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giuseppe Silveira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paulino Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. FALCÕES VERDES's Gugu Mello was substituted for Juvenal Urbano. After 85 played minutes Salelles got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Marin. 89 minutes into the match, Pietro Santos notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Salelles's Giuseppe Silveira. Giuseppe Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salelles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Pietro Santos scored to the left of an out of position Giuseppe Silveira, making the score, 1-5. The Salelles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FALCÕES VERDES's performance. The match ended with a win for FALCÕES VERDES.
