After some careless play in the Al-Fajuth defense, Ulisses Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Édouard Mendy. The Al-Fajuth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Édouard Mendy should have stopped the shot. Golo Duarte took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 10th minute, one of Al-Fajuth:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Al-Fajuth. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land. Gustavo Brás stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Édouard Mendy. 0-3. Édouard Mendy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Duarte went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Aquiles Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Aquiles Duarte notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Quadros made a great header on CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's corner, it was just that Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy managed to reach the ball for a save. Édouard Mendy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7.

In the 55th play minute Ulisses Duarte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Édouard Mendy. 0-8. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Fajuth from getting a goal against them. After 58 minutes, Cruz Adolskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Fajuth and the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Duarte got free with Édouard Mendy in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute Timeteo Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Quadros in the 62nd minute of play. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Fajuth from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Amílcar Campos got a free kick in the 65th minute. Édouard Mendy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 68th minute. When Dorian do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al-Fajuth's protests and gave Dorian do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Dorian do Vale hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Quadros in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Édouard Mendy saved Al-Fajuth from getting behind. Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Golo Duarte 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timeteo Pinto in the 79th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Golo Duarte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Édouard Mendy came out and tried to block the shot, but Golo Duarte slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 81st minute. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Duarte in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match, Diego Quadros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Édouard Mendy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Édouard Mendy was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Golo Duarte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Golo Duarte really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. 95 minutes into the match, Ulisses Duarte notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
