Deilmison van Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deilmison van Basten ran back to his position shaking his head. Noel Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of SLB TELHA booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Valery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Vilaça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Vilaça came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Barbosa. When ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SLB TELHA's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in SLB TELHA's zone, Deilmison van Basten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Alcântara came out of the goal and Deilmison van Basten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SLB TELHA! Noel Alcântara had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Deilmison van Basten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 35 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Noel Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Alcântara came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Noel Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deilmison van Basten's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Valério Vilaça. In the 46th minute, Deilmison van Basten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half ATHLETICO PRaiano were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Valério Vilaça made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Alexandre Barbosa in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Erubiel Valery. 66 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Skoog came free, but Noel Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SLB TELHA's Noel Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Alexandre Barbosa made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Diogo Madureira immediately put the ball in play. After 87 minutes of play, SLB TELHA's Adelino Manso made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! ATHLETICO PRaiano played a much better game than SLB TELHA and deserved their victory. The SLB TELHA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
