Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Gheară, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Paul Gheară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Gheară in the 20th minute of play. If Romulo Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Boedo Vengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Eneas Diez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Karlo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Eneas Diez made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Aureliano Karlo sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes, Abelardo Felipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Felipo.

The wind increased when Paul Gheară made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 53rd minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Eneas Diez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Paul Gheară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Staffelbach came free, but Eneas Diez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Aragones in the 86th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Julien Staffelbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julien Staffelbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. De Boedo Vengo's Eneas Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Julien Staffelbach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
