The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nestor Tesone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdi Ufki having to make a save. Abdi Ufki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Tesone, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 5 played minutes Los Laguneros de AT got a freekick which was hit by Juan Simon. 7 minutes into the match, Los Laguneros de AT's Nestor Tesone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdi Ufki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Laguneros de AT's Fabio Nabar got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Tesone struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Abdi Ufki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Laguneros de AT. 23 minutes into the match, Nestor Tesone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdi Ufki. Rejunte de perros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Tesone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Los Laguneros de AT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rejunte de perros:s goal. The goalkeeper, Simon Hori, was totally fooled by Rejunte de perros's Horacio Librado, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Reynaldo Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rejunte de perros's protests and gave Reynaldo Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Reynaldo Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Horacio Librado rounded Los Laguneros de AT's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 39th minute Nestor Tesone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Ufki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Tesone came free, but Abdi Ufki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Gotzon in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Laguneros de AT's goalkeeper Simon Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Tesone to make the kick off. Simon Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Pio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rejunte de perros booed when Los Laguneros de AT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Frodyma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Laguneros de AT's Radomil Frodyma got a free kick in the 64th minute. Los Laguneros de AT's Simon Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Librado in the 68th minute of play. Nestor Tesone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Abdi Ufki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rejunte de perros made a substitution. Braulio Enol replaced Marcelino Normando. Simon Hori came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Rejunte de perros's Horacio Librado. But to his dismay, Horacio Librado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by Timoteo Firmo in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Laguneros de AT's Kazimierz Patora. Simon Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Enol in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Los Laguneros de AT getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kazimierz Patora hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Laureano Conrao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Hori was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Los Laguneros de AT's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
