Ivan Nisio scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Maggio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Mejía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uudo Aalto in the 31st minute of the match. Luis Mejía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Bernad in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Pascual Cesaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Nisio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Maggio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Pascual Cesaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Novos Troncos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Novos Troncos's Pascual Cesaro got a free kick in the 39th minute. Honorio Vela got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abel Gonza. A collision led to Novos Troncos getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gică Vădan hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Novos Troncos's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Nisio came free, but Pablo Maggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Nisio to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Novos Troncos's Pascual Cesaro got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Cedro in the 95th minute of play forced Novos Troncos's goalkeeper Pablo Maggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ could leave the field as winners, despite Novos Troncos having more of the ball for most of the match.
