Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Tello in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Veloso got free with Renan Mendes in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oséias Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Renan Mendes made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Veloso came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Salamanca came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matanza and Steelers were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Dinamo Colorado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renan Correia took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Marvin Salamanca managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Matanza and Steelers from getting a goal against them. Valdo Veloso took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Mendes. Renan Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Fabrício Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Tello in the 36th minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Fabrício Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Dinamo Colorado's Valdo Veloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With a little luck, Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes got control of the ball when Valdo Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Veloso in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Valdo Veloso made the kick off in the second half. Clemente Abraão's late challenge caught a Matanza and Steelers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Abraão helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Renan Correia got a free kick in the 54th minute. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Ramiro Harriet replaced Egídio Gonçalves. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Veloso in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Veloso came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dinamo Colorado fans cheered their team off the field, for while Matanza and Steelers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
