Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zico Zellier started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Jon Yost in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GuateFortín's Roberto Trotta. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquis Kenny in the 7th minute of play. Jermaine Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Richmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido got control of the ball when Merlin Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute Merlin Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khachatryan's attentive Marquis Kenny managed to snatch the ball when Christian Najarro made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Zico Zellier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Zellier came free, but Jermaine Richmond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudy Sigaran hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match, Sung McKinley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nery Pumpido saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jermaine Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Zellier, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sung McKinley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Angel Alvarenga. In the 37th minute, Sven-Edvin Jansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jermaine Richmond was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Angel Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jermaine Richmond having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Khachatryan's Merlin Castro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Merlin Castro made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Fabio Huezo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Khachatryan's Merlin Castro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 59 minutes into the game, GuateFortín's Zico Zellier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jermaine Richmond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquis Kenny, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jermaine Richmond was a little too slow when Zico Zellier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-3. GuateFortín made a substitution. Heriberto Correa replaced Angel Alvarenga. GuateFortín's Mario Gomez was substituted for Roberto Trotta. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sung McKinley in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute Máximo Perrone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Richmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Máximo Perrone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sung McKinley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Nery Pumpido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Marquis Kenny got a free kick in the 89th minute. GuateFortín were furious when Danilo Ocampo was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 93 minutes into the game, one of GuateFortín:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Khachatryan a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Merlin Castro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido. 2-3. The Khachatryan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GuateFortín's performance. The match ended with a win for GuateFortín.
