Jorge Virila started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Argon's Mehmet Osman Temizel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zacarias Ascencio. Zacarias Ascencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Virila came free, but Felix Enetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Virila struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Felix Enetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celta de Virgos. In the 20th minute, Christian Servando made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Ascencio. Celta de Virgos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Argon's Mauro Fonso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sergio Sayvion, made in the 26th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Virila in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Enetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danilo Demario got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jorge Virila. 43 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's Jorge Virila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Enetz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Christian Servando might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Ascencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Servando ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute Christian Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Enetz was a little too slow when Jorge Virila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 2-1. Felix Enetz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Virila showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Virila got free with Felix Enetz in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Virila came free, but Felix Enetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argon's Yaya Toure was substituted for Christian Servando. In the 87th minute of the match Celta de Virgos got a corner. Argon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonardo Cordero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Celta de Virgos's Leonardo Cordero to fire away a dangerous shot which Felix Enetz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Jorge Virila took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Felix Enetz to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Celta de Virgos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
