AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erlantz Bermejo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Eyague saved AC LeX Luthor from getting behind. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 10th minute of play. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 19th minute of play. AC LeX Luthor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gelu Ioniță in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurino Serena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, one of A.D. Alcorcón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave AC LeX Luthor a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silvestre Semeno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena. 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gelu Ioniță was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Rodion Nikitin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Pronk in the 41st minute of the match. Peep Pronk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurino Serena having to make a save. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague got control of the ball when Belo Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half AC LeX Luthor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erlantz Bermejo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A.D. Alcorcón's Eusebio Quijana was substituted for Natxo Cacheres. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Maurino Serena made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Peep Pronk sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Belo Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Eyague was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Pronk in the 63rd minute of the match. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Pancho Branca made a great header on AC LeX Luthor's corner, it was just that A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 71st minute of the match, Aristide Ciuvică tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maurino Serena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 73rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, AC LeX Luthor's Maurino Serena threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aristide Ciuvică, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zeledon Savion was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zeledon Savion got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maurino Serena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 77th minute of the match. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belo Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena got control of the ball when Aristide Ciuvică tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's Aristide Ciuvică got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The AC LeX Luthor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC LeX Luthor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
