Christer Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giacomo Casanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giacomo Casanova in the 4th minute of play forced Here Comes the Hammer's goalkeeper Christer Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tage Deckbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tage Deckbergh might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johan Lööf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tage Deckbergh ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Johan Lööf successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Zaaki Zakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, La Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Deckbergh came free, but Johan Lööf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the La Boys defense, Tage Deckbergh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Lööf. The La Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Lööf should have stopped the shot. After 18 played minutes Here Comes the Hammer got a freekick which was hit by Valter Delin. 23 minutes in the game Torgny Helberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bernt Hedling. Giacomo Casanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Hedling in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Zaaki Zakas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Here Comes the Hammer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Boys the free kick. In the 28th minute Bernt Hedling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Hedling took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christer Åkesson. Christer Åkesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Hedling in the 40th minute of play forced Here Comes the Hammer's goalkeeper Christer Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Murilo Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Here Comes the Hammer's protests and gave Murilo Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Frans Hökkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Åkesson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Deckbergh in the 43rd minute of play forced La Boys's goalkeeper Johan Lööf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Zaaki Zakas made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La Boys booed when Here Comes the Hammer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Tunström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Here Comes the Hammer's Christer Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Hökkvist in the 53rd minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Torgny Helberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Here Comes the Hammer's Balhikapungava Bonk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tage Deckbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Lööf having to interfere. Christer Åkesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Hedling in the 73rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, La Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Deckbergh came free, but Johan Lööf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Here Comes the Hammer's Balhikapungava Bonk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Torgny Helberg in the 88 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Here Comes the Hammer defense, Bernt Hedling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christer Åkesson. The Here Comes the Hammer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Åkesson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Deckbergh in the 95th minute of play forced La Boys's goalkeeper Johan Lööf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Boys's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
