In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Joel Tancredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Weterio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Tancredo. LA DEL MONO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Weterio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Teodoro Aurre hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Silvestre Txomin hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Moneyball Academy's Wilfredo Weterio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Tancredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Weterio to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Wilfredo Weterio rounded LA DEL MONO's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Wilfredo Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moneyball Academy's Wilfredo Weterio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 58th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Moneyball Academy's Spetzenfeldth Owen was substituted for Esen Sevimli. After a rather tough play, Moneyball Academy's Maximino Malvin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The throw-in from Teodoro Aurre in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Moneyball Academy's Ulises Dimas. Joel Tancredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Enoaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Moneyball Academy's Esteban Chaime quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvestre Txomin, made in the 85th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Maximino Malvin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Tancredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. LA DEL MONO's Joel Tancredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Enoaia in the 94th minute of play. The Moneyball Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
