Dündar Aynacıoğlu hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Bertil Asserlind sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ARES FC DeusDeFutbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Cuesta should have stopped the shot. Celta de Virgos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Bertil Asserlind scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Ascencio, making the score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zlatan Ibrahimov to strike the kick off in the second half.
