Enio Tróia came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Orvar Alegren. But to his dismay, Orvar Alegren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Enio Tróia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orvar Alegren's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Elano Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Donatello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orvar Alegren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Enio Tróia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Orvar Alegren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Enio Tróia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã dos Santos in the 29th minute of play forced Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s goalkeeper Jose Laffitte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Veiga's late challenge caught a Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. Abelardo Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Elano Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Cauã dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goal looked a bit too open when Efraim Bodenschmidt came free, but Enio Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tom Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Cauã dos Santos made the kick off in the second half. Enio Tróia came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Orvar Alegren. But to his dismay, Orvar Alegren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Raimundo Che's late challenge caught a ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS defense, Orvar Alegren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Tróia. The ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enio Tróia should have stopped the shot. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Enio Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Alegren in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Ej. Hermosillo B.C. got a freekick which was hit by 李建文. Enio Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Alegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Tom Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enio Tróia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Nicolae Petru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Tróia having to interfere. The corner led Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Tom Murillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Enio Tróia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ej. Hermosillo B.C. booed when ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Orvar Alegren in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hermosillo B.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
