The tension between the La Candela FC and the La Cosa Nostra players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Olari Paukson hit a great ball. Paul Ros made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lu Yang Xing. Joel Suarez made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Candela FC's Paul Ros. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Otterlei in the 18th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Paul Ros in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Cosa Nostra's Jairo Boniel. La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save La Cosa Nostra from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Delfino. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 42nd minute, Jairo Boniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Otterlei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Otterlei got free with Ramiro Gabrio in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Lluterio in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramiro Gabrio. That made the score 1-2 after 69 minutes of play. The La Cosa Nostra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Delfino should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Marciano Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Bitxintxo in the 88th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Guaberto Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
