Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Argider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Argider in the 24th minute of play forced Brasilino's goalkeeper Róbson Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Rigoberto Argider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Luz y Fuerza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Róbson Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Artaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-10.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaltino Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Rigoberto Argider made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbson Custódio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rigoberto Argider received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 71st minute, Rigoberto Argider reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Róbson Custódio. The goal made the score 0-14. 75 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Artaldo came free, but Róbson Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
