In the 7th minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. When Deilmison van Basten came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the ATHLETICO PRaiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deilmison van Basten couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute of the match ATHLETICO PRaiano got a corner. Barrenta SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robin van Persie ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vilhelm Skoog got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patric Isaksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Erubiel Valery quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valdemar Cabral, made in the 21st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Deilmison van Basten put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Patric Isaksson. In the 24th match minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitor Beckenbauer to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 88th minute of the match.
