Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sipke Kroon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mario Klompe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greger Skröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jon Eklund scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Klompe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Greger Skröder scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Klompe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Klompe came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Metalducks's Greger Skröder. But to his dismay, Greger Skröder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Greger Skröder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Klompe having to make a save. Mario Klompe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Eklund in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Greger Skröder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metalducks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A sloppy throw-in by Nick Boeringe in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Metalducks's Tony Modig. After having played for 23 minutes, Greger Skröder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metalducks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greger Skröder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Metalducks fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Metalducks's Greger Skröder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan ter Averst during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Metalducks booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan ter Averst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Skröder in the 32nd minute of play. Metalducks's attentive Tony Modig managed to snatch the ball when Ben Oude Kamphuis made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Torgny Lidberg charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torgny Lidberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Metalducks's Torgny Lidberg got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Skröder came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metalducks's Tony Modig quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nick Boeringe, made in the 46th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Eklund was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Ben Oude Kamphuis in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Metalducks's Tony Modig. A collision led to Zijdewind SC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Giovanni Buskermolen hit a great ball. Metalducks's Jim Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sipke Kroon in the 56th minute of play. Mario Klompe made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Greger Skröder sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Metalducks getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jon Eklund hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascall Klaus to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Tony Modig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Klompe. Tony Modig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Jon Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Klompe was a little too slow when Greger Skröder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-7. Metalducks's Jim Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sipke Kroon in the 76th minute of play. Zijdewind SC were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Metalducks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogier Jongsma took the corner. Zijdewind SC's Sipke Kroon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jim Lindkvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Buskermolen in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Lindkvist saved Metalducks from getting behind. Jan ter Averst got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 81 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Jan ter Averst. Jon Eklund did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Mario Klompe 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Evren Düden dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mario Klompe, 0-9. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Sjors Hoekstra got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zijdewind SC's zone, Greger Skröder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Klompe came out of the goal and Greger Skröder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Klompe made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Aron Nyberg sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Metalducks could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zijdewind SC throughout the match.
