In the 8th minute Iustinian Comăneci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Remus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Remus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Bolborici, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Victor Victorica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SuperDepor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th minute, Călin Bolborici left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 21st minute Victor Dobrotă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Tarchilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Remus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Victorica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Călin Bolborici notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ITA Arad's Iacob Remus. Iacob Remus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Călin Bolborici struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Iacob Remus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuperDepor. After some careless play in the ITA Arad defense, Stelian Pivniceru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Remus. The ITA Arad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Remus should have stopped the shot. After 36 minutes of play, SuperDepor's Iustinian Comăneci made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iacob Remus was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the ITA Arad defense, Stelian Pivniceru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Remus. The ITA Arad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Remus should have stopped the shot. ITA Arad's Iacob Remus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Pivniceru in the 42nd minute of play. Iacob Remus came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by SuperDepor's Călin Bolborici. But to his dismay, Călin Bolborici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Victorica was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, ITA Arad's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Victorica came free, but Iacob Remus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ITA Arad's Iacob Remus got control of the ball when Călin Bolborici tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Victor Victorica took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Iacob Remus to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th match minute, ITA Arad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Dobrotă to maneuver through the defense. Iacob Remus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustinian Comăneci in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Călin Bolborici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iacob Remus. ITA Arad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Călin Bolborici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. In the 63rd minute Felix Tiberian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Tarchilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Iustinian Bitang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iacob Remus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Victorica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Călin Bolborici dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iacob Remus, 1-10. 74 minutes into the game, Victor Victorica recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iacob Remus. Victor Victorica showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-12. When Stelian Pivniceru came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SuperDepor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Pivniceru couldn't finish the play. Iustinian Comăneci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iacob Remus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Victor Victorica dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iacob Remus, 1-13. With a little luck, ITA Arad's Iacob Remus got control of the ball when Călin Bolborici tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over SuperDepor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ITA Arad throughout the match.
