After a rather tough play, CSM ALEXANDRIA's Ciprian Chitoran got a free kick in the 10th minute. Airidas Brazauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bacalbașa in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Verzea. Olimpiu Hortopan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Daniel Bacalbașa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Chitoran in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Aristide Ciompec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Verzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Ciprian Chitoran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSM ALEXANDRIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Airidas Brazauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bacalbașa in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Ciprian Chitoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Gurgui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's Daniel Bacalbașa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Airidas Brazauskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Terry Peysson in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Airidas Brazauskas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 45 minutes into the game, Terry Peysson lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Airidas Brazauskas. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Terry Peysson made the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Gurgui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Drăgoi in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Francisc Drăgoi made a precise shot to the right of Bogdan Gurgui. F.C.BARLAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Daniel Bacalbașa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Airidas Brazauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Irod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match, Ciprian Chitoran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bogdan Gurgui was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 70th minute F.C.BARLAD were awarded a corner. Daniel Bacalbașa went to the cornerflag to take it. Airidas Brazauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Peysson in the 74th minute of the match. Airidas Brazauskas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
