Kuddusî Yazargil's late challenge caught a GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuddusî Yazargil helped the player get up and apologised. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Tuncay Şanlı was substituted for Şener Atabek. In a very dangerous position, a player in S.P.Q.R. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! When the match was over GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.P.Q.R. throughout the match.
