Paredes Campderros started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Huarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Huarte having to make a save. Walter Huarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldeón Bretal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Huarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Huarte having to make a save. Walter Huarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 13th minute of the match. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Huarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Huarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Huarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Käller's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Cevallos Provencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Galle made a huge save. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Huarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Käller in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Huarte saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Walter Huarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cevallos Provencio got free with Wilhelm Galle in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Käller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Walter Huarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Walter Huarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Kind of Blue. Sebastian Käller stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Walter Huarte. 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Käller made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Zhuo Ke Le got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Huarte having to make a save. Sebastian Källers short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Walter Huarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paredes Campderros in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes Kind of Blue's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dani Galiana who took care of the corner kick. Cevallos Provencio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 71 minutes, Sebastian Käller made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zhuo Ke Le fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Huarte having to interfere. Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. With his leg Walter Huarte managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 87thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Käller struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Walter Huarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kind of Blue. Sebastian Käller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Walter Huarte made a huge save. In the 92nd minute of the match Kind of Blue got a corner. Astillero del Guayas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joacim Hansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 96th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevallos Provencio to maneuver through the defense. Walter Huarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Käller in the 97th minute. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marques Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kind of Blue had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
