The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Arghiroiu came free, but Traian Morozan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rasnita getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gigel Ifrim hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Rasnita's Ştefan Pistol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Traian Morozan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute Sebastian Condrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Morozan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Traian Morozan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Onea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Traian Morozan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Onea in the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Chiuzbaian in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Hogaș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Chiuzbaian in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Condrea in the 31st minute of play forced THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalkeeper Traian Morozan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alin Brănet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Manuel Hogaș made a huge save. The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Petru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Hogaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Zeciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Lucrețiu Agudaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Rasnita from getting a goal against them. Manuel Hogaș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Chiuzbaian in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrei Arghiroiu was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Romeo Chiuzbaian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Călin Zărnescu got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Rasnita's Gigel Ifrim broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 63rd match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Arghiroiu to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Traian Morozan managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Rasnita's Andrei Arghiroiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Ilie Romoşan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rasnita. Andrei Arghiroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Pistol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Traian Morozan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Traian Morozan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Condrea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Traian Morozan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save THE CRYSTAL SHIP from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Ştefan Pistol could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Traian Morozan however easily saved by the left post. In the 82nd minute Rasnita were awarded a corner. Gigel Ifrim went to the cornerflag to take it. Horaţiu Homescu lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 86th minute, one of THE CRYSTAL SHIP:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for THE CRYSTAL SHIP. 92 minutes into the match, Andrei Arghiroiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Traian Morozan. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Arghiroiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. If Alin Brănet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The THE CRYSTAL SHIP supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rasnita's performance. The match ended with a win for Rasnita.
