Madvik FC's Ucup Mundo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evandro Santana's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

Madvik FC's Pedro Teves was substituted for Laércio Resende. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro Santana to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Bacardi Black Bats defense, Jacobo Venerando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Brudzisz. The Bacardi Black Bats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Brudzisz should have stopped the shot. Pedro Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimas Gois in the 59th minute of the match. That made the score 0-2 after 92 minutes of play. 95 minutes into the game, Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 98 minutes of play, Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
