Raimondas Kuodys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Grabert in the 5th minute of play. Boruc Glogowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimondas Kuodys having to interfere. In the 8th minute Edwin Grabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimondas Kuodys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes UNITED Kaunas got a freekick which was hit by Aistis Žilevičius. Edwin Grabert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimondas Kuodys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Savage Hippo were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after UNITED Kaunas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martynas Jaras took the corner. The corner ended in Saulius Pilipavičius almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but UNITED Kaunas's Raimondas Kuodys did a great save. Raimondas Kuodys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Grabert in the 20th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundas Šernas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edwin Grabert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimondas Kuodys having to make a save. Raimondas Kuodys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Grabert in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, UNITED Kaunas's Aistis Žilevičius got a free kick in the 35th minute. Edwin Grabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Edwin Grabert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimondas Kuodys was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Aistis Žilevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Edwin Grabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimondas Kuodys was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 45th minute, Boruc Glogowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimondas Kuodys was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The UNITED Kaunas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Savage Hippo were winning 0-2.

51 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundas Šernas came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimondas Kuodys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Grabert's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, UNITED Kaunas's Aistis Žilevičius got a free kick in the 69th minute. Aistis Žilevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Raimondas Kuodys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Grabert in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes of play, Savage Hippo's Edwin Grabert made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimondas Kuodys was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, UNITED Kaunas's Raimondas Kuodys got control of the ball when Saulius Pilipavičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Savage Hippo's corner Martynas Jaras fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raimondas Kuodys quite easily take care of the ball. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klemensas Bazaras in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, UNITED Kaunas's goalkeeper Raimondas Kuodys had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Grabert. With his leg Raimondas Kuodys managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Savage Hippo's Edwin Grabert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edwin Grabert in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raimondas Kuodys, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 96th minute, Owen Tomaszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savage Hippo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
