In the 18th minute of the match Ona Somrient FC got a corner. Picanya FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Idacio Sánchez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Kobe Bryant got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Zaplana to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henric Villaquiran in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Erosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Naldo Roig was a little too slow when Kobe Bryant got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Villaquiran in the 29th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 31st minute, but Naldo Roig got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Picanya FC hanging dry this time. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Picanya FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Idacio Sánchez was slow to take the kick. During this time Ona Somrient FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Idacio Sánchez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Naldo Roig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, Henric Villaquiran notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa. Claude Erosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Villaquiran in the 41st minute of play. Picanya FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Ona Somrient FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wawrzyniec Kissel took the corner. The corner led Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran to fire away a dangerous shot which Claude Erosa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rangel Machev in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rangel Machev was the one to do the kick off. Naldo Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeruko Candela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rangel Machev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Roig having to interfere. The supporters of Ona Somrient FC booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregory Bermejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naldo Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ona Somrient FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
