The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Podgoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Chao Ke in the 5th minute of the match. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Chao Ke in the 11th minute of play. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jerônimo Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute of the match Acercate Y Patea de Lejos got a corner. Ogro F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hipolito Misael ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Hipolito Misael almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende did a great save. After some careless play in the Acercate Y Patea de Lejos defense, Gong Chao Ke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Podgoreanu. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Podgoreanu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Vergílio in the 27th minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emanuel Podgoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emanuel Podgoreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gong Chao Ke. Emanuel Podgoreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gong Chao Ke in the 35th minute. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Garcia in the 37th minute of play. Alex Van Halen didn't quite understand what happened when in the 46 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 minutes, Gong Chao Ke made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gong Chao Ke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Yi Xu in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Jerônimo Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Garcia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Garcia got free with Alysson Rezende in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Lang struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Emanuel Podgoreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos made a substitution. Rosendo Gervaso replaced Yves Ayral. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos made a substitution. Joel Haimar replaced Hipolito Misael. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Eliseo Abechuco put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alysson Rezende. Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera was substituted for Gong Chao Ke. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taci Ulusoy in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Gervaso came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alysson Rezende came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Rosendo Gervaso. But to his dismay, Rosendo Gervaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ogro F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
