Södermalm FK were furious when Marc-André Reumann was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Södermalm FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano:s goal. Östen Ahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Otoniel in the 25th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Itzaina. Chiquito Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kåre Bocklund in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kåre Bocklund got free with Chiquito Romero in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Frank Öberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Södermalm FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano the free kick. After 34 played minutes Södermalm FK got a freekick which was hit by Frank Öberg. In the 36th minute of the match Leo Sidoro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Östen Ahlbom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Södermalm FK's Marko Nordström got a free kick in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
