Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) QxQ Torun's Iwan Wodaszak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ForestFire's Stephan Garner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. Bartosz Luty didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbie Le Van went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sammy Knowles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartosz Luty having to interfere. ForestFire's Stephan Garner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Wawro in the 14th minute of play. ForestFire's Robbie Le Van got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ForestFire's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Zenon Wawro scored to the left of an out of position Stephan Garner, making the score, 1-1. Stephan Garner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Wawro in the 21st minute of play. ForestFire's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Merlin Nunez in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on ForestFire's corner Merlin Nunez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bartosz Luty quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Orville Black hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Wawro in the 32nd minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Stephan Garner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kip Blevins struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bartosz Luty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ForestFire. Barnaba Golaszewski came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stephan Garner could save by the left post. In the 38th minute, Merlin Nunez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 played minutes QxQ Torun got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Wodaszak. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
In the 48th minute, Orville Black sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and QxQ Torun's Bartosz Luty didn't even have to move. 53 minutes into the match, Jedrzej Bochynski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stephan Garner. ForestFire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jedrzej Bochynski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of ForestFire booed when QxQ Torun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Wawro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stephan Garner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Wawro in the 62nd minute of play. ForestFire's Stephan Garner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Wodaszak in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sammy Knowles hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Le Van got free with Bartosz Luty in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Jedrzej Bochynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, ForestFire's Bartosz Luty threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kip Blevins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th minute, Kip Blevins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartosz Luty was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Iwan Wodaszak got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Iwan Wodaszak kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Barnaba Golaszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Garner having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, QxQ Torun's goalkeeper Bartosz Luty had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbie Le Van. Neither QxQ Torun or ForestFire succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.
Bartosz Luty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Knowles in the 102nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Barnaba Golaszewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephan Garner came out of the goal and Barnaba Golaszewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 107 minutes into the match, QxQ Torun's goal looked a bit too open when Tuan Zimmerman came free, but Bartosz Luty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartosz Luty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuan Zimmerman in the 108th minute of play. Konstanty Sierocki charged in rather forcefully in the 111th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstanty Sierocki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 111th match minute, QxQ Torun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Sierocki to maneuver through the defense. Merlin Nunez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 112th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bartosz Luty. QxQ Torun's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 114 minutes into the game, ForestFire's Robbie Le Van nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartosz Luty made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. ForestFire played a much better game than QxQ Torun and deserved their victory. The QxQ Torun players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
