An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Ostrowski in the 33rd minute of play forced Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Bogdan Pilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Pavlidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ryszard Wnukowski, 2-1. Vaggelis Pavlidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryszard Wnukowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vęgoria Team were furious when Boguslaw Ikalewicz was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vęgoria Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Arsenal a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giotis Kourmouzis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Pilarski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukasz Bronder in the 57th minute. Ryszard Wnukowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Sierocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Wnukowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Vęgoria Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emre Demir in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Emre Demir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arsenal's Ryszard Wnukowski did a great save. After 92 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Ostrowski. Vęgoria Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
