An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Rydel in the 13th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Ryszard Wnukowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Wnukowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Özgebay, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 13th minute Duran Özgebay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Wnukowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kolejarz Przybysławice's Mateusz Rydel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ryszard Wnukowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Czeslaw Jaktorowo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Naskrent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giotis Kourmouzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Rafinha Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ryszard Wnukowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cezary Ostrowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Stefan Naskrent made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
