Stelian Nisporeanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Bobby Van Dijcke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alex Raţiu in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bobby Van Dijcke, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Serge De Kerpel's late challenge caught a A.C. Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serge De Kerpel helped the player get up and apologised. Codruț Isaicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bobby Van Dijcke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bobby Van Dijcke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Nisporeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Alex Raţiu came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bobby Van Dijcke could save by the left post. When A.C. A collision led to Dutch Rebels getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Pascal Vanhaeren hit a great ball. When Stelian Nisporeanu came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the A.C. Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Nisporeanu couldn't finish the play. Bobby Van Dijcke made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Alex Raţiu sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes, Alex Raţiu made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dutch Rebels's Bobby Van Dijcke tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Stelian Nisporeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C. Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Nisporeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bobby Van Dijcke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bobby Van Dijcke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Raţiu in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dutch Rebels's Henri Decorte got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Nisporeanu came free, but Bobby Van Dijcke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Dutch Rebels defense, Alex Raţiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bobby Van Dijcke. The Dutch Rebels fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bobby Van Dijcke should have stopped the shot. Codruț Isaicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emmanuel Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cristian Voican tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Alex Raţiu put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bobby Van Dijcke. The audience was convinced that Alex Raţiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bobby Van Dijcke was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Alex Raţiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Van Dijcke having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Raţiu came free, but Bobby Van Dijcke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes, Dante De Smet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dutch Rebels and the A.C. Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Dutch Rebels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante De Smet to maneuver through the defense. Stelian Nisporeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Raţiu in the 94th minute of play forced Dutch Rebels's goalkeeper Bobby Van Dijcke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
