In the 8th minute, Augustin Amurăriței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ booed when DREAM TEAM WORLD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Rousses didn't get a good kick on the ball. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting a goal against them. Augustin Amurăriței received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lu Zhen Sheng came out and tried to block the shot, but Augustin Amurăriței slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Alan Petersen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lu Zhen Sheng having to interfere. Alan Petersen came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lu Zhen Sheng could save by the left post. In the 25th minute of the match, Augustin Amurăriței tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lu Zhen Sheng made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mo Qi Yu sent off a good shot on target. Mendez Urquizu made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andrzej Zapolski. In the 39th match minute, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Morrison to maneuver through the defense. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 41st minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Layton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Petersen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustin Amurăriței was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jim Morrison hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Andrzej Zapolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Layton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Amurăriței in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lu Zhen Sheng saved DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting behind. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Amurăriței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Héctor Adomaitis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Randall Burton was substituted for Augustin Amurăriței. DREAM TEAM WORLD's André Luís Lessard was substituted for Andrzej Zapolski. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Paulo Jon replaced Héctor Adomaitis. Roberto Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Lessard in the 72nd minute of the match. If Mo Qi Yu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Gierasik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton got control of the ball when André Luís Lessard tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Wilfredo Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the DREAM TEAM WORLD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Cutberto couldn't finish the play. The DREAM TEAM WORLD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DREAM TEAM WORLD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
